Exodus Cry LightHouses
“For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, Now I will arise,” says the LORD; “I will set him in the safety for which he yearns.” – Psalm 12:5
Exodus Cry LightHouses are safe homes for the victims of human trafficking, slavery, and exploitation; as well as orphans at risk of being trafficked. These homes serve as a beachhead of operations which include rescuing, restoring, and reintegrating victims of human trafficking back into society. Central to these operations is a prayer room in every LightHouse where day and night prayer and worship create an atmosphere of healing and restoration and empower our efforts to minister to the needs of victims or those at risk.
Rescue
We focus on rescuing victims through investigations, intervention, victim assistance, and cooperation with local authorities.
“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me… to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.” – Jesus Christ (Isa. 61)
Restore
We focus on physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychological restoration through proper medical attention, counseling, and spiritual formation.
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” – Psalm 147
Reintegrate
We focus on the reintegration process through general education, trade-skill development, job placement, and long-term support and assistance.
“He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength… those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” – Isaiah 40
