Lancaster, PA

There is now an Exodus Cry chapter in Lancaster, PA. My name is Stacy, I am the leader of this chapter. Leadership is not my strength, so please hold me up in prayer. I won't sit back and do nothing. This issue needs to be held up in prayer and the word needs to get out about modern day slavery. I am asking other chapter leaders to share with me what they are doing in their area to raise awareness. God bless all of you in your local ministries.

Be encouraged, Stacy!

Bless you for hearing and responding to his call. Lord, release creative downloads to Stacy and wisdom in leadership of this chapter.... Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as (coming) from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God. 2 Cor. 3:5 Please share ideas he gives you. ~ Molly EC

Ezekiel 9

This is one of the most intense chapters in the bible; I pray this chapter almost daily to keep myself stirred up on the justice mandates the Lord has given me. Keep praying for the Lord to raise of this generation to cry out for justice.

Hello

I am from Harrisburg PA, and I would love to get more involved in prayer and fasting to see this moral issue end.

Do you meet in a church? Are you a small group?

Thanks so much for wanting to

Thanks so much for wanting to get involved. Exodus Cry itself is an organization based out of Kansas City, MO. We are focused on seeing the ending of human slavery through prayer, awareness, and action. We ask people to start Exodus Cry Chapters (either based in a city or on a college or high school campus) and they focus on prayer, awareness and action in there city.

I know there is a chapter in Lancaster, Pa. I am not sure how far that is from you, but you can get there contact info by checking out the Exodus Cry Chapter page here on our website.

Chapter Meeting

Hi all!! Thank you for holding the Lancaster Chapter up in prayer. We just had news that the room we were using for prayer is not available because the building it is in got condemned. Please pray that the Lord will provide a place here in the city where we can gather together to pray and war against this injustice!! I will give word when another meeting place is established. If anyone wants to get together, please call me so we can find a temporary place to meet together and pray. God will provide!!!

UK watchmen

Hi,

Would anybody know if there are any UK based watchmen already?

We feel a strong call to prayer and action, and as part of a House of Prayer have a foundation and covering to develop strategies and to pray.

We are waiting on God to hear his heart and mind and continue to join in prayer with you via the video updates and monday watches from the web site.

We feel a strong mandate to "lift up our voice like a trumpet" and would greatly value prayers to cover our 'hidden' cell as we are strengthened in His purpose and grace and prepare our case in the spirit and the natural.

Yours for the Lord's battles.
David

Egypt

I have been associated with IHOP since 02. Joined Kirk Bennett and the Cause in 05 for the ending of abortion and the start of Zhop. I am currently moving to Alexandria, Egypt in a few weeks and was wondering about statistics on Egypt. I read a book a few days ago about how women were brought into Cairo and walked across the Sinai Peninsula into Israel.

Exodus Cry in the Los Angeles area

I just returned from 2 weeks in IHOP & know the Lord is calling me into desperate prayer & contending for a shift in this horrendous area of injustice. I would like to connect with others in the LA area (I live in Torrance in the South Bay area:judithwa@gmail.com) & pray for the opening of a chapter here. Please email me if you are in this area so we can connect. While at IHOP the Lord gave me parts of Is 21 & 22: "the burden of the vision!!" & downloads about Lighthouses. I lived in Thailand for many years and also contending for breakthrough in that nation.
Thankful for like-minded spiritual warriors!

LA chapters

Awesome to see the Lord really burdening your heart for injustice! There are currently no chapters in the LA area but we have had several people contact us recently asking about one. Have you considered starting one yourself? You can download an application on our website under the "action" section. Would love to hear from you more.

I just heard about Exodus Cry

I just heard about Exodus Cry a couple of days ago, and i think this might be an answer to a prayer I have had for awhile.

I'm an undergrad student at USC (I live near campus during the week and come home to Fullerton in Orange County on the weekends), and I'm considering starting a chapter here at USC. I'm not sure yet, but I am praying and asking God if this is really what He wants me to do. Maybe if you decide to start the LA chapter (if you haven't already), we can work together. My email is: joannewl@usc.edu

Houston We Have A Slave Problem

Greetings all around.
I have applied for an Exodus Cry chapter in Houston, a city that has been designated by the DOJ as one of the top locations for human trafficking. Our proximity to the border, network of interstate freeways, second largest port in the world, and large international population make us a prime target for the grace of God, because where sin abounds grace abounds much more.
Just saying 'hey' to all the chapters. Do you guys also do outreach? If so, what kinds of outreach are you doing?
Blessings all around!

Chapter outreach!

Hey Cat,

Here in KC we are doing outreach in several different ways. We are working with other groups in the area to offer services to women who are being prostituted on the streets. Things like food, ministry and shelter, mental and physical healthcare, counseling, job/skills training etc...
We are also reaching out to women working in sexually oriented businesses like strip clubs.
We also do prayer walking in areas known for prostitution and strategic intercession outside of porn shops.
Hope that helps, our chapters in Dallas and Ft.Worth are doing some amazing stuff too, they would be a great connection for you. Their contact info is listed on the chapter page.
So excited to hear how things develop with your chapter. Keep in touch and let us know how we can be praying with you for Houston!

Our town

We're a part of the Exodus Cry chapter here in Kearney.
By all appearances, our town doesn't seem to have the "trafficking" appearance --- but --- that's not true ---
Just last week, I wrote a letter to the editor, and subsequently it was published --- regarding businesses & bars that are "sexually oriented businesses" that are carefully moving into my town---

In the past, I have asked the City Council regarding things on venues (i.e. "wet t-shirt contests") that have appeared at businesses in "our town"... and the sad reply... "It's legal. The citizens okayed it by ballot vote."

How many small towns across the midwest have this in their town?

I don't know when this particular ballot was given to the vote of the people. I have participated in every election since moving here, and don't remember seeing it. Twelve years now. But all I know is --- what has become of this --- the move of nudity/partial nudity more and more into businesses of my town --- we must put a stake in the dirt, and state, "not on my watch" --- speak up for those sent to the slaughter for the sake of ill-gained profit.
