I had a dream that I was in a house, and just beyond a white wall with a white door in the middle of it, a young girl was screaming outside. It wasn't the kind of screams you hear in the movies. It was horrific, blood curdling and desperate, and within the screams, the girl was also screaming, "Mommy!" over and over and over. I knew somehow she was being sprayed with pepper spray, and she was in terrible agony. But if I opened the door to help the girl, I would get sprayed as well, and both of us would be in trouble. So I stayed inside with the door closed, and prayed in the Spirit. I prayed loud and hard, and it was then it was revealed to me, it was MY DAUGHTER.

When I woke up, I immediately understood. Every day, little girls around the globe are being exploited in ways we can't imagine. Many are innocent children, and I know they are screaming for their mommies. I cry every time I relay this dream. My heart is desperately broken, and I long to hold every one of them in my arms and comfort them. Imagine what the Lord feels!!!

I know it comes down to this: I can shake my head and think how awful this tragedy is, or I CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. So, since the day I woke up from this dream, I have been working toward opening a safe house for trafficked American children. I'm blessed to have discovered Exodus Cry, and hope that we will be working together toward the same goal. Rescuing our daughters...because they are OUR daughters...every one of them.
