Last week sometime, I had a dream I was in France. I was not myself. I was a girl who was traveling alone with just a backpack. I was lost and confused about the subway system. I didn't know when the trains closed or where they went. A few people offered to help me. They were Asian (not sure where specifically), and they were telling me to get on a train. I saw their ID and realized they were not from France and they were trying to transport me and then sell me. I ran through the streets looking for help and nobody would help me. Finally I found a newstand where a guy was working and he had on a pin about environmental activism. I lied and told him that I had information about an oil company conspiracy and he brought me off the street to videotape my "testimony". The only reason he helped me was because he wanted to use my information.
Yes, this was all in the dream. I was really disturbed by the fact nobody would help except for selfish pursuits. It broke my heart for the vulnerable, fatherless, and alien.
I know what you mean. I had a very similar dream. It's tragic that people let this issue go unnoticed.
