Yo People I'm a Christian working in Svay Pak Cambodia. I have just opened up a EC chapter and I will do my best to keep the updates coming. Here is a copy of my most recent email update to that I sent to my friends and family.
" God is good, sovereign, and loves to glorify himself! Yesterday may have been the best day of my life. It was so good that I feared I would wake up and it wouldn't be true.
As many of you know we have been working on three separate cases concerning horrific sexual abuse and forced prostitution in Svay Pak. One includes a girl that was being raped by villagers and her drug dealing brother. The abuse had gone on for so long that this particular girl had gone mentally insane. The second case involved a girl that I called "Sarah" (13 years old) I had a personal connection with this girl and had worked with her for two years when I found out that she was trafficked to another city. The third case was concerning Sarah's younger cousin (8 years old). Both were being forced to work in brothels all over Cambodia.
To be honest I was starting to despair that we would get any of these girls out. The first case was becoming so complicated and her mental instability was a major roadblock, and I had been working for weeks tracking down Sarah and her cousin all over Cambodia using my staff, foreign investigators, and anti-trafficking police to rescue them. At one point we had 5 investigators working 24/7 to no avail. But, praise God we got the breakthrough for all three of them on the same day! and they were all whisked away together in the same van to their new safe home were they can receive Christ based care!
At the same time we were attempting rescue operations, we were also applying a mixture of pressure and diplomacy to the family members that were selling their kids. They all ended up breaking on the same day! I got so excited I lost control, picking up one of my staff members throwing him over my shoulder as we took off running shouting "praise God" in our native languages.
Most girls when they are rescued are terrified to come to our center because they don't know what to expect, but these three girls had been building relationships with our staff over the years. They ran to our van with smiles on their faces eager and grateful to leave. We told all of them that they could take some of their possessions if they would like. The one girl that is currently mentally unstable, decided to bring a jug of water with a makeshift strap, ha! we told her that there would be water at her new home.
As the van drove off the girls stared out the back window smiling and waving to us. They were going off to there new home and we would remain on the battle front in Svay Pak. That day we were not battle weary we felt unstoppable. We all went to the local cafe, got coffee and sodas and had a victory toast, I said "To Freedom!" one of my staff, said, "Today, we win, evil men lose." and the other staff member said "If God is with us, who will be against us."
Thank you all so much for joining with us in prayer, I suggest that all of you take a moment to bask in the victory yourselves."

Your work in Cambodia is incredible Clayton, we are with you brother!
